Northern Dewatering is looking for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead and coordinate estimating
efforts for dewatering, sewer bypass, and water management work.
This role is responsible for keeping a steady flow of quality bid opportunities in front of our team, ensuring

  • Identify and track upcoming work to maintain a strong and consistent bid pipeline

  • Source projects through bid boards, industry contacts, and existing relationships
  • Organize and distribute plans, specs, and bid documents internally
  • Work directly with estimators and engineers to develop solid, buildable bids
  • Analyze past bids and job performance to improve future estimates
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and clients
  • Work with leadership to decide what work to pursue and where to stay competitive
  • Continuously improve estimating processes and systems

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of estimating experience in civil, utility, dewatering, or similar work
  • Understanding of sewer bypass and/or dewatering systems a plus
  • Proven ability to review and tighten up estimates—not just build them
  • Able to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities without things slipping
  • Organized, direct communicator who can work with both field and office teams
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and standard estimating tools
  • Field or operations background is a strong plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based work with regular use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods as needed
  • Occasional travel to job sites, meetings, or client locations may be required
  • Must be able to navigate active construction or industrial job sites, which may include uneven ground, stairs, mud, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions
  • May occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move materials or documents up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing

Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Vacation, Paid Holidays, Life Insurance. Start accruing PTO
on the 1st day. Compensation based on experience, ranging from $90k – $120k based on experience. Paid
Weekly! Potential for bonus.
